It works great, I just wish it was smaller in diameter. I wish it had a smaller diameter so it can fit in the first flip up lid opening of a ten gallon tank - so I can just drain then directly walk it to empty it out into my tank. It’s so big that I have to remove my whole tank lid in order to swish the bbs into the water. This isn’t ideal. Very much improved over the basket sort sieve from before that had those pain in the butt seams that were near impossible to get bbs untangled out of. The process is much easier now as this sieve is super easy to clean.

I have been hatching bring gor my fry with a hodgepodge system for years. This is game changer! With hanging it, without hanging it, for rinsing, it’s just all around just what I wanted to stop losing so many shrimp down the drain. I highly recommend.

Good rugged design. Correct mesh size. Easy to use and clean. I messed around with cheap nets and other ways to collect, this is by far the easiest to use. A no-brainer just get one.

It would have been nice to have provided a collection cup underneath the sieve to catch the water.

It gets clogged up really easy about half the time and then takes forever to drain. Also isn't the easiest to get the shrimp back out.

Extremely helpful if youre hatching brine shrimp! There are other options but this is probably the best. Its 130 micron. I would like an option for the 100 micron, but its not totally necessary. Can't beat the price and customer service as well!

The clip makes it easy to hang and secure inside of a bucket or smaller container. I also use this when doing water changes on my scud tank instead of chasing them with a net in a bucket.

This brine shrimp sieve is amazing. Works great and keeps all the live brine shrimp in the sieve with none escaping. Love all the aquarium co-op stuff!

I hatch BBS daily for my many tanks. It has been sort of a pain for a while now. I had a good net, but it's old and fraying. Getting the BBS drained has been difficult and time-consuming. So I went ahead and sprang for this net/cup. It has simplified the task 100-fold. The hatchery drains right into the collector. The high sides mean it doesn't need close monitoring as it drains, as there's no chance the collector will overflow. Rinsing is equally easy, and then can disperse into tanks with a pipette. Very pleased!

Gets the job done! Also use it for water changes in my fry tank. Clip it inside the tank and syphon water out of the cup and I dont have to worry about sucking up fry

Works way better than what I had been using. I can rinse off the salt without loosing any shrimp. The collector fits perfectly inside an empty cottage cheese cup. I add water to the cup and use a pipette to suction up shrimp and shoot fresh water and shrimp into the aquariums to feed the fish.

If you’re using the large Ziss brine shrimp incubator this is a must along with a small bucket. Keeps excessive salt out of small nano planted tanks. Just scoop and dump, fish go crazy.

I bought this a week ago and I used it all week multiple times. I hatch a lot of baby brine shrimp. I breed barbs, white clouds, and medaka. I love this thing it has positively enhanced my fish keeping experience and I recommend it unreservedly. I have two of the hatcheries going nonstop alternating days the temperature in my fish room causes me to have about an 18-hour hatch cycle. This is well worth the money. I don't know what more to say except again it has positively enhanced for fish keeping experience

I have the same baby brine shrimp net that most people who hatch brine shrimp have, and they do the job. But when I saw this, I was excited. I know that the items that are sold here have been tested and are normally top of the line product. I’m not saying this isn’t top line product it is but it’s missing one thing. There needs to be a lid to go on the bottom that seals the bottom after you strain your baby brine shrimp. That way you can add some tank water to it and pour off whatever amount you want into the tank, then move to the next tank. The way it is now once you strain your baby brine shrimp you have an empty cup with a pile of baby brine shrimp in the bottom so it. Yes I know there are many ways around it. But it would be that one thing to make this outstanding. That being said this is a good product and I would buy it again if I needed to.

I absolutely love the Ziss Brine Shrimp Collector Sieve, it has taken my brine shrimp harvesting from a major hassle to the easiest part of my week. I used to juggle a fine net and pour the brine shrimp back and forth and some would still go through the net and then I'd have to rinse the net and try not to drop it, such a pain and never enough hands.

Now I just drain my hatcher into the sieve, pour out the salty water and rinse the shrimp out of the sieve. Way better collection and so smooth and easy. I was almost ready to give up on hatching brine shrimp, with the sieve I'm definitely keeping this going for my guppy fry.
